Partners of the MMK

The provision of support in the capacity of MMK partner is possible in many forms. It can be applied to the expansion of the collection, the activities of the institution in general, or a special project within the framework of the museum’s exhibition and education programme. Depending on your interests and specific background, you can become an MMK Partner, a Corporate Partner, or a Project Partner.

MMK Partner

With this model, the MMK, the city of Frankfurt and its partners are entering into a sustainable and innovative alliance for the patronage of art.
As a public-private partnership, the MMK Partner model guarantees long-term planning security for museum-specific aims such as the expansion of the MMK’s internationally prominent collection.
Over the past years, the MMK’s partner model – a manifestation of responsible museum and collection policy – has received worldwide attention. The partners support the museum’s foremost task. They help ensure the independence of the collection and its expansion on a high level of quality.
Subscription to the MMK Partner model represents outstanding dedication to culture that – in terms of sustainability – far exceeds support for individual events and temporary exhibitions. The museum’s collaboration with its corporate partners is distinguished by long-term, future-oriented action.

Corporate Partner

Corporate Partners are companies that make financial or material contributions to the MMK 1 within the framework of a predefined time period of at least one year. Patronage within this framework benefits the MMK as a whole and is applied to specific projects in agreement with the respective partner.
The names of our Corporate Partners are prominently displayed in the museum as well as on our printed matter, our website, and our press releases.

Project Partner

The comprehensive exhibition and event programme offered by the MMK over the past years would not have been possible without the generous support of numerous Project Partners.
Within this framework, we are in the fortunate position of being able to count on support from numerous large foundations that have pledged to promote contemporary art, as well as from institutions and individual patrons dedicated to the local community.
The MMK is proud of - and very grateful for - the support it has received, in many cases over several years. As a Project Partner, you can aid the MMK in various areas: special exhibitions, the MMK Talks series, various activities within the framework of the cultural education programme, special events such as MMK Sunset, and more.
We show our appreciation to our Project Partners by displaying their names on wall texts, printed matter such as invitations, press releases and introductory addresses at exhibition openings.
