Public guided tours are organized by topic. They are led by specialist scholars of the museum staff. Guided tours are offered every day. An English guided tour is available Saturdays at 4 pm. The individual topics and times are listed in our calender.

A one-hour tour costs € 80, at the weekend, € 95.
Foreign-language tours cost € 95.
Guided tours for groups of schoolchildren are free of charge.
The coat check is free of charge. Complimentary lightweight folding chairs can be borrowed from the coat check.
Valuable items can be stored separately in the lockers available. Complimentary lightweight folding chairs can be borrowed at the entrance of the exhibition.
A parking space for the disabled is located opposite the main entrance on the corner of Domstrasse and Braubachstrasse.

There is a barrier-free entrance at the main entrance.
Walkers and wheelchairs
The museum has one wheelchair and one walker, which can be used free of charge. If you let us know in advance of your visit by calling +49 69 212 30447, the wheelchair/walker will be waiting for you at the front desk upon your arrival.
Portable folding stools are available from the coat-check free of charge for use during your visit.
In the entrance area is a lift, which provides access to all levels of the building.
Barrier-free restrooms are located on the lower level.
Seeing-eye and seizure-response dogs
Seeing-eye or seizure-response dogs are permitted in the building.

Public guided tours with simultaneous translation into sign language are available. Please check the calender for dates and times.
Access to the MMK 3
In the Haus am Dom, next door to the Zollamt, there is a lift which provides access to the upper level of the Zollamt. Please notify the museum cashier’s desk.
Lifts in the MMK 3
Since there are no lifts in the Zollamt interior, the ground floor is not accessible barrier-free.
There are no barrier-free restrooms in the Zollamt.
Taking photographs in the exhibition spaces is only allowed with a photo permission. This permission slip and badge can be obtained at the front desk upon your visit.
